Motorcycle Races

This year Kelly was really into motorcycle racing. He put his heart into it and he took first in his class. Knowing he was first in his class he chose not to go to the last race in Paige Arizona. We decided to go to California since our son-in-law was going down to race and Kelly wanted to try a California race. We all went out the day before so they could practice. They weren't gone five minutes when my son-in-law came back needing to take my truck to get Kellys bike. He said it quit and they couldn't get it started. I didn't think anything else. Well,when they got back Kelly could hardly walk. So,we took him to the hospital and spent the next four and a half hours there coming home with a L1 fractured vertebrae and a broken tail bone, hurt shoulder and foot, and lots of cosmetic work to do to his bike. But, he's doing real good and can't wait to get riding again. Next race is in January in Mesquite. He thinks he'll be ready.
